Jakarta, October 23, 2025 – PT Sirkular Karya Indonesia (SKI)—a subsidiary of PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk, announced a strategic collaboration with PT Marubeni Indonesia and PT DNP Indonesia (DNP) to launch Indonesia’s first large-scale industrial initiative focused on converting plastic waste into sustainable building materials.
As the first initiative of its kind at an industrial scale, the project is committed to delivering sustainable building materials accessible to all communities, while reducing plastic pollution and supporting Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 75 of 2019 on the Roadmap for Waste Reduction by Producers.
Through this collaboration, plastic waste from DNP’s production facility, previously treated through high-temperature incineration, is now collected and processed by SKI into innovative, durable, and recyclable building products. These will be marketed nationwide under the brands Alduro Roof for roofing applications and Alduro Board for wall partitions. With the introduction of Alduro, people across regions and income levels will have access to safer, more affordable, and environmentally friendly building solutions.
This collaboration brings together the strengths of three key partners: SKI, with its innovation and manufacturing capabilities in sustainable building materials; Marubeni Indonesia, which plays a pivotal role through its extensive global network and experience in sustainable business development; and DNP Indonesia, with its strong commitment to responsible waste management. Beyond domestic impact, this collaboration also opens the door to a potential partnership in exporting green building products together.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing circular economy practices in Indonesia. It demonstrates that recycled products can be competitive, socially inclusive, and environmentally beneficial. Together, the three companies reaffirm their shared vision to turn waste into opportunity and to build a stronger, cleaner, and more sustainable future for Indonesia.
