Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

In practice, the Company has standard operating procedures as guidelines for implementing OHS in the company’s environment, which apply to all Company employees and all visitors in the Company’s work area. Some of the things regulated in these standard operating procedures include security induction procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage procedures, and emergency response procedures.

Consistently, the Company actively cultivates a culture of OHS in the workplace through diverse forms of socialization and training. This initiative aims to instill a heightened awareness among employees of the crucial importance of integrating OHS practices into every facet of their work responsibilities.

Our Efforts in Creating an OHS-Compliant Work Environment

  • Provide personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Create warning signs in high-risk work areas

  • Perform regular machine and equipment maintenance

  • Provide OHS training as well as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification audits

  • Provide Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to our products

  • Organize the flow of raw materials and finished goods in accordance with safety standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015

  • Grouping of dangerous goods storage areas outside the factory area

  • Create pedestrian areas in the factory environment, designated smoking areas, well-ventilated rest areas for employees, lactation rooms, muster points, and a nursery garden in the factory for greenery

Uplifting the Livelihoods of the Communities through Solar Dryer Products

Our commitment towards the external community is primarily shown through our sustainable Solar Dryer Dome (SDD) product – a solar powered drying solution, shaped like a greenhouse that is suitable for community of farmers/fishermen that produce vast amount of agri-produce/fisheries and Solar Dryer Table (SDT) – a portable version of SDD that is suitable for smaller community of farmers/fishermen.

The innovation aims to create a positive social impact in underserved communities through post-harvest management training to achieve food security and it is conducted by Impack’s Solar Dryer Team.

We provide a specific training program to teach them the knowledge about post-harvest management and entrepreneurship skills.

The training aims to boost the creative potential of Micro Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and is conducted in collaboration with the government and non-profit organizations, with the goal of transforming farmers and their communities into ‘agripreneurs’.

Impack is committed to providing fair and equal service to all customers, ensuring that they receive accurate information regarding product warranties, product safety, health and safety, as well as specifications and installation instructions.

With regards to services, we have provided an after-sales service to customers through a buy-back program by purchasing trimming waste. The waste will be further recycled into our environmentally friendly products.
